Day 5 - Black Obsidian - 24 Days of Crystals

Today's crystal of the day as we countdown to Christmas is Black Obsidian! We wanted to include a very grounding and protective stone in this calendar that you will be able to take with you wherever you go! With its midnight colour, Black Obsidian is the perfect name for this stone. This mystical volcanic glass has a grounding presence providing protection.

By absorbing toxicity, obsidian clears attachments and fears that dim our light. This anchoring stone helps sensitive empaths against invasive energies seeking to unbalance. 

Obsidian's root chakra grounding corrects energies by releasing resentment and anger. It helps to break down walls you might have built up emotionally, physically and spiritually. This allows space for new growth.

Obsidian dispels negative energies of others and transmutes pride and denial into humility and self-love within. This stone is also known for being the stone of clarity. It helps to clear negative energy and thoughts which encourages self development.

Obsidian healing happens in the spaces between - the balance of dark and light, night and day, the seen and the unseen. It is a lovely stone to take with you on the go or to work with in your meditation for promoting compassion and strength whilst also bringing protection and grounding energy.
